CMSA Annual General Meeting - October 1, 2026

Your Club. Your Voice. Your Future.

Crossfield Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) invites our members, families, coaches, volunteers and community members to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Crossfield Community Center.

The AGM is an important part of the operation and governance of our Club and provides our membership with an opportunity to hear about the work completed over the past year, understand where CMSA is today, and learn more about where we are headed next.

Looking Back — and Looking Ahead

It has been another busy year for CMSA.

As our Club continues to grow, so too have the programs, teams, development opportunities and initiatives available to players, coaches and families in our community.

At the AGM, we will provide our annual reporting on Club activities and operations, reflect on the progress made throughout the year, and share some of what CMSA has in store for the near future.

Most importantly, the AGM provides our members with an opportunity to participate.

CMSA belongs to the community it serves, and we encourage our families to come out, ask questions, learn more about how the Club operates and help shape the future of soccer in Crossfield.

We Need Your Help — Board Positions Available

This year's AGM is particularly important as CMSA has two Board positions that need to be filled:

Treasurer

The Treasurer supports the financial oversight and responsible stewardship of the Association's funds and helps ensure CMSA continues to operate responsibly and sustainably.

Secretary

The Secretary supports the governance and administration of the Board through meeting minutes, records, communications and other important Club documentation.

These are not simply positions that CMSA would like to fill.

For the Board to exist, and for the Club to continue to exist and operate, these positions are needed.

Like many community organizations, CMSA exists because people are willing to contribute their time, experience and skills to create opportunities for others.

You do not need to be a soccer expert to serve on the CMSA Board.

Our Club benefits from people with different professional backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and ideas. Whether your strengths are in finance, administration, organization, communication, leadership or simply a desire to contribute to your community, there may be an opportunity for you to make a meaningful difference.

Our Club Is Built by Our Community

Every practice, game, academy, tournament and new opportunity we are able to provide starts with people willing to help make it possible.

As CMSA continues to grow, we also need to continue growing the group of volunteers and leaders behind it.

If you have ever wondered how you can become more involved, the AGM is a great place to start. Come meet the people behind the Club, learn more about what we do and discover where you may be able to contribute.

There is no obligation to join the Board simply by attending. We welcome anyone who wants to better understand CMSA and the direction of the Club.
