The Crossfield Minor Soccer Association (CMSA) is proud to unveil the official logo for the Girls Power Weekend—an emblem that captures the heart of a movement and the spirit of a generation.
More than just an event, Girls Power Weekend is the beginning of a lasting tradition: a space for girls to come together in sport, celebrate their uniqueness, and unlock their incredible potential. The logo stands as a symbol of that mission—bold, vibrant, and deeply meaningful.
A Logo that Tells a Story
At the center of this new identity is a dark plum crest—a rich, powerful color that provides both literal and symbolic foundation for everything Girls Power Weekend represents.
Plum is more than a backdrop; it reflects:
Wisdom and maturity, connecting generations of girls, women, and leaders.
Dignity and depth, underscoring the serious commitment to keeping girls in sport.
Feminine strength and resilience, reminding us that quiet strength can be just as powerful as loud celebration.
The dark plum anchors the logo, allowing the vibrant figures within it to shine while communicating a sense of belonging, stability, and pride.
Within this meaningful crest are four distinct silhouettes—each one representing a vital part of the female sport experience:
The Girl Player in Coral - A vivid coral hue symbolizes joy, vibrancy, friendship, and play. It reflects the passion and possibility within every girl who steps onto the field to chase her dreams.
The Woman Volunteer in Orangish-Tangerine - This warm tone radiates energy, compassion, and dedication, embodying the spirit of women who give their time and heart to lift others.
The Female Referee in Teal/Turquoise - A cool, confident color that represents calm leadership, fairness, and resilience. It stands for women who take charge and create safe, structured spaces in sport.
The Female Leader in Green - Symbolizing growth, mentorship, and grounded strength, the green silhouette is a tribute to women who guide, inspire, and lead with purpose.
Together, these colors form a living mosaic of the female soccer community—players, volunteers, officials, and leaders—each vital, each valued.
The Start of a Powerful Annual Tradition
The inaugural Girls Power Weekend in 2025 will be a full-day event filled with games, mentorship, workshops, and celebration. In 2026 and beyond, it will expand into a two-day annual tradition, drawing girls from across the region into a festival of empowerment and belonging.
Why does this matter? Because girls are leaving sports at twice the rate of boys—especially in rural communities like ours. CMSA is determined to reverse that trend. Girls Power Weekend is our commitment to elevate, include, and inspire.
